Costume Parade 2009

Yes, I claim the volleyball player, Indian and Batman as my own! :) Today they got to dress up and parade around the entire school. They walk thru the Upper School so the older kids can see all their clever costumes.

Trinity is a volleyball player.....she actually is really good when she plays. Her spandex fit her like big shorts! One day she will fill them out and everyone on the other side of the net better watch out for my baby!

Kansas is an Indian. Of course my little animal lover had to carry around her favorite stuffed animals to finish off her costume.

Then there is the masked super hero....Logan. He really likes his muscles!! haha He wasn't very cooperative when I asked him to stop so I can snap a pic....maybe because there was a cute little girl watching! :)
I hope everyone has a safe Halloween!

Homecoming Bonfire 2010

Me and My Team....minus a few players

Last night we had our 2nd annual Homecoming Bonfire at Benbrook Stables. We recognize all the Seniors on stage and then we light the Bonfire and the kids just hang out.

Me and Krazy Kate.... :)

Me and Rachelle....she has been my setter for the last 4 years. I can't believe she is graduating....I'm so sad!! She is a great athlete but more importantly, a great person!

3 of my 4 Seniors....Lauren, Alec and Rachelle

Merit, Lindsay, Alec and Kate enjoying the bonfire festivities.
Tonight we have our last home game and it is also Senior Night. It is so hard to say goodbye to the kiddos that you have been coaching for 4 years. You watch them come in as freshman and they are intimidated by you and usually can't walk and chew gum. :) Then the next thing you know, they are telling you the exact amount of days until they get their drivers license.....and poof just like that they are Seniors and getting ready to head off to college. I have had a blast with this team and I am going to miss my Seniors so much. I wish them the best and they better come back and visit! :)

The Rombeaus

The Rombeaus!! It was so good to see my Uncle Bill, Aunt Sharon and cousins, Kira and Nicole. Still can't believe it has taken 35 years for me to meet my Uncle John, Aunt Maureen and cousins, Charlie and Suzanne. I will tell you that they are so loving and warm and made me feel like I have spent my entire life around them. It was the best feeling to be around them all.

Here are the Rombeau boys. My Nan and Grandpa Lee sure would be proud of these fellows! :)The only one missing is Uncle Charlie but he is in Heaven smiling down on us all.

I have always been proud to be a Rombeau. I know that going through a divorce as a child was not fun but it blessed me with a loving and caring step-dad that cares for me like I am his own daughter....my sisters Megan and Julie who mean the world to me and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thank you Megan and Wesley for allowing us all to come together to share your special day as a family.

Many Blessings and Lots of Love,

My Little Sister's Wedding....part 1

My little sister, Megan got married to her college sweetheart, Wesley this past Saturday. She was absolutely the most beautiful bride! I am in the process of sorting through pics so there will definitely be a part 2 to this post. We had a great time and got to see family that we had never met. I will tell you that being around them felt like we have known them our entire life. I am very blessed!

The beautiful couple.....they are both UT grads so after they were pronounced husband and wife, they recessed to "The Eyes of Texas" cool huh!

They had a photo booth and Gene and I took advantage of the opportunity to be a little goofy. We still don't know who gave us the bunny ears...my guess is our middle child! :) Well stay tuned cause there are many more pics to come. Congratulations Megan and Wesley!!

Pumpkin Patch Pics... 2009

Me and My Gang.....Pumpkin Patch 2009

This year we took some friends with us out to Hall's Pumpkin Farm.

My kiddos and Karson and Cameron....and one old tractor!

I tried to lock them in there but it didn't work....darn it! :)

Isn't that the cutest little scarecrow you ever saw?

My girls getting their workout on by lifting the big ol' pumpkins.

The Amandas.....aka "Mom Picture" :)

Look at Trinity posing....what am I going to do with that girl! :)

And the boys....being destructive as usual.
We finally had a day without rain so we were able to go visit the pumpkin patch. It was beautiful outside!!! The kids had a good time and of course us moms got us some good pictures! Happy Fall everyone!!

Go Blue Jays!

Logan working on his game face before we headed to the football game.....I must say I am pretty darn proud!

Logan and his buddy Cameron getting ready to play the Yankees.

Big hit #10....he sure does love this game!!!

Playing a little catcher......
I absolutely love watching my kids play sports. Logan is very intense and loves baseball but today at one point he told Coach John he didn't feel like playing. After coach made him take 2 laps around the field, I got a hold of him. I don't think we will be having that problem anymore! No laziness alllowed! :) Sorry...it's the coach in me....and athlete...can I still consider myself an athlete? :)

Saints Upset the Trojans in OT

Our Varsity Football team has been plaqued with injuries and some other setbacks but that didn't stop them from upsetting the Trinity Valley Trojans last Friday night. It has been a long time since I have seen a team play with that much heart and determination. The game was tied at 21 all at the end of regulation. OT began with TVS getting the ball at the 25. Our tenacious defense held off the Trojans and they had to settle for a field goal. Our guys got their chance next and it was all over for TVS. The Saints scored a touchdown and the entire student body ran onto the field....how can people not like sports! :)

Coach Beck congratulating his team on their efforts and saying a little post-game prayer.

Senior Saints.....and.....

Coach Beck's future....so we may need to work on their game faces...we got a few years :)
GO SAINTS!

The Watts Hit the Ice

Trinity and I getting ready to hit the ice skating rink. It was nice and chilly on Saturday to get us in the mood. :) Logan's buddy, Devin turned 7 so we went to his party to celebrate!

I got a kick out of watching my athletic son hold on to me with a death grip! His little legs were going all over the place! (thanks John for the pics :)

Kansas got out there and skated like she had done it before.

Trinity was like Bambi....she was all over the place. She spent more time on her butt then on her skates! But doesn't she look adorable! :)

Me and my little man....not sure what is going on with his smile!

Gene wouldn't get on the ice cause he said he "has had enough surgeries already"...fair enough! :) He took care of picture taking and helping with skates. We had a lot of fun ice skating and thought we would head to a pumpkin patch yesterday but since we keep having rain, it was closed. I am definitely ready for some pretty, fall weather!! Y'all stay dry out there!

Making Memories at the Mavericks Game

Last night we were able to go to the Mavericks game thanks to some friends of ours giving us their awesome tickets! Gene and I took Logan and his buddy, Cameron along for the fun. The girls stayed with our BFF neighbors which they were excited about! Logan and Cam thought the Mavericks truck was pretty cool.

The garbage disposals as Gene called them....these boys can eat!! After they each had their own nachos, we bought them peanuts and the feast didn't end there.....

Our seats were great....I was surprised how much the boys really got into the game. Unfortunately the Mavericks didn't pull off the win against the Magic...maybe next time boys!

Me and my MVP...
Our friends called us and were in their box so we were able to go watch the game from there as well! When we told the boys we were going to a box, they literally thought we were going to sit in a box as in cardboard....pretty funny! They were very excited when we got there and they saw the spread of food.....little piggies!

Logan getting a little daddy time....

Gettin' a little rowdy....and hoping Mavs Man would shoot them over a t-shirt!

I don't think we were off the parking lot when I looked back to find this. How sweet are these two little guys. The Mavericks may have lost but we sure had a great time building memories. Have a great week!
