Happy Birthday Logan!!

Birthday Boy...6 years old! I just love this picture. He looks so happy. Today the school let all the students and teachers wear purple to support TCU in their quest for an undefeated season...GO FROGS!! My friend Jenny's husband is one of the coaches so we've got to show our support. I always tease her that maybe one day Justin (her hubby) will be recruiting Logan.

Gene and I with our sweet boy....you like my "purple" bruise....see..I do all I can to show my spirit...haha!

Logan's class was so excited to see the cookie cake waiting for them in the classroom when they returned from lunch. Yummy!!!

Logan and the other birthday kiddos getting their birthday blessing.

How awesome to be "EXTRA" blessed on your birthday!

Early morning present opening....it's our tradition. Logan was so excited to get a Nintendo DSi. He said "mommy, this is the best day ever!" Ahhhh....

Happy Birthday Logan! We love you so much!!!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Many Blessings,

It's Been FOREVER

It has been forever since I have posted on my blog. I just wrapped up my season and we made school history!! No All Saints' team has ever been in the Division I tournament and we were there this year AND we upset the #1 seed!! We finished with a 4th place finish and I could not be more proud of my girls!

I'm sure you can tell from the picture above that Logan has started playing flag football. They had their first game last week and he had a blast. He is playing with all his Kindergarten buddies from All Saints'.

Yes, that is Logan....the only boy on his team NOT in white pants. :) He was not happy with me...but at least he had cool, new Nike football cleats.

My 4 Seniors...I will miss them so much. Y'all remember getting mums in high school? Those were the good ol' days....NOT! :)

Here is my team on Senior Night....Logan always seems to sneak into the pictures.

I miss my team already but I am looking forward to having the winter season off. Time to catch up on chores and just relax with the kiddos. Tomorrow is Logan's birthday and he is so excited I will be bringing a cookie cake to his class.....so of course I will HAVE to post more tomorrow.

Costume Parade 2009

Yes, I claim the volleyball player, Indian and Batman as my own! :) Today they got to dress up and parade around the entire school. They walk thru the Upper School so the older kids can see all their clever costumes.

Trinity is a volleyball player.....she actually is really good when she plays. Her spandex fit her like big shorts! One day she will fill them out and everyone on the other side of the net better watch out for my baby!

Kansas is an Indian. Of course my little animal lover had to carry around her favorite stuffed animals to finish off her costume.

Then there is the masked super hero....Logan. He really likes his muscles!! haha He wasn't very cooperative when I asked him to stop so I can snap a pic....maybe because there was a cute little girl watching! :)
I hope everyone has a safe Halloween!

Homecoming Bonfire 2010

Me and My Team....minus a few players

Last night we had our 2nd annual Homecoming Bonfire at Benbrook Stables. We recognize all the Seniors on stage and then we light the Bonfire and the kids just hang out.

Me and Krazy Kate.... :)

Me and Rachelle....she has been my setter for the last 4 years. I can't believe she is graduating....I'm so sad!! She is a great athlete but more importantly, a great person!

3 of my 4 Seniors....Lauren, Alec and Rachelle

Merit, Lindsay, Alec and Kate enjoying the bonfire festivities.
Tonight we have our last home game and it is also Senior Night. It is so hard to say goodbye to the kiddos that you have been coaching for 4 years. You watch them come in as freshman and they are intimidated by you and usually can't walk and chew gum. :) Then the next thing you know, they are telling you the exact amount of days until they get their drivers license.....and poof just like that they are Seniors and getting ready to head off to college. I have had a blast with this team and I am going to miss my Seniors so much. I wish them the best and they better come back and visit! :)

The Rombeaus

The Rombeaus!! It was so good to see my Uncle Bill, Aunt Sharon and cousins, Kira and Nicole. Still can't believe it has taken 35 years for me to meet my Uncle John, Aunt Maureen and cousins, Charlie and Suzanne. I will tell you that they are so loving and warm and made me feel like I have spent my entire life around them. It was the best feeling to be around them all.

Here are the Rombeau boys. My Nan and Grandpa Lee sure would be proud of these fellows! :)The only one missing is Uncle Charlie but he is in Heaven smiling down on us all.

I have always been proud to be a Rombeau. I know that going through a divorce as a child was not fun but it blessed me with a loving and caring step-dad that cares for me like I am his own daughter....my sisters Megan and Julie who mean the world to me and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thank you Megan and Wesley for allowing us all to come together to share your special day as a family.

Many Blessings and Lots of Love,

My Little Sister's Wedding....part 1

My little sister, Megan got married to her college sweetheart, Wesley this past Saturday. She was absolutely the most beautiful bride! I am in the process of sorting through pics so there will definitely be a part 2 to this post. We had a great time and got to see family that we had never met. I will tell you that being around them felt like we have known them our entire life. I am very blessed!

The beautiful couple.....they are both UT grads so after they were pronounced husband and wife, they recessed to "The Eyes of Texas" cool huh!

They had a photo booth and Gene and I took advantage of the opportunity to be a little goofy. We still don't know who gave us the bunny ears...my guess is our middle child! :) Well stay tuned cause there are many more pics to come. Congratulations Megan and Wesley!!
